- plan lessons so that students have more agency (a fancy way of saying ‘responsibility’, ‘involvement’, ‘integration’ in their own learning)
- turn competences into activities that promote your methodology
- structure lessons through Mini-Lessons (scaffolding/body of Lesson/formative evaluation)
- establish norms and consequences, grounded in positive reinforcement, so that group work is more productive
- graduate questions so that they push students from lower- to higher-order thinking
- instil the ethic of excellence in my students’ perspectives
- evaluate best learning practices according to internationally recognised studies
- integrate the concept of the growth mentality in our lessons
- use alternative formative and summative assessments that celebrate a variety of our students’ strengths
Option 1:
Three (3) training sessions
Three (3) coaching sessions
- specific elements are presented in training session to be implemented before the next coaching session
- in the next coaching session, all participants share evidences and give feedback regarding their progress after each training session

1-3 day intensive training
- focus on elements of one methodology
- focus on the complimentary elements of a mix of methodologies
- develop entire projects and/or Mini-Lessons during the workshop
- experiment with scaffolds geared towards a variety of learning styles
