There is growing recognition that creative uses of memorisation techniques are valuable in cognitive, behavioural, and neurological flexibility. These opportunities allows adolescence to explore and adapt to their shifting inner and outer worlds. Giving them concrete tasks to structure their thinking will support this development. Students work collaboratively using verbal, tactile and visual skills to remember and deepen knowledge of new material.
